02 / OUR WORLD
Salt in the air.
Stories in the sound.
A grey coastline. A wooden room beside the harbour. The sound of rain finding its way into the silence. This is where the world of The Last Obsidian begins.
In the band’s story, Liam Vance and Callum Ross find common ground in American post-grunge and British indie rock. The Fraser twins bring the pulse; Ewan McKenna brings a classical instinct for melody. Together, they give quiet beginnings the weight of a full band.
The songs turn towards what remains: a memory, a bond, a voice you still carry. Distortion gives way to bare strings. Tenderness holds its own against the noise.
